Conservation, CITES, people and plants, wildlife trade

In my role as a Science Officer, I focus on the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), as part of the UK CITES Scientific Authority for Flora. I provide scientific advice on CITES policy and licensing to Defra and the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) and complete research on international plant trade.
