Join us to explore the traditional craft of willow weaving and make your own handcrafted, six-foot-tall willow plant support!
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to prepare willow and weave it into a durable, outdoor-friendly structure. Inspired by the traditional design of a salmon trap, this elegant woven cone is perfect for supporting climbing plants in your garden.
Guided by Dominic Parrette you’ll be introduced to the techniques of weaving with willow coppiced right here at Wakehurst. Dominic will lead you through each step of the process to create a strong, beautiful plant support that will last.
Join us for a hands-on experience in sustainable craft and leave with a unique addition to your garden.
